Welcome to the Lee Lax 2024 Spring Season of recreational Youth Lacrosse! The mission of Lee Lax is focused on the positive development of youth lacrosse in Southwest Florida. We provide education, guidance, participation, and positive leadership focused on teamwork and good sportsmanship all the while instilling the passion and history that makes lacrosse the great sport that it is. It is our singular goal to provide the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in and embrace the passion of the lacrosse experience.

 

Our season will begin in January and last until Mid-April. Practice will be twice each week for all teams, and games will be played on most Saturdays in February, March, and April in Lee or Collier County. Your child will need basic equipment to play. This includes: a stick, helmet, elbow pads, chest pad, mouthpiece (very important), cup, and cleats. PLEASE NOTE: There are NEW standards for chest protectors that went into effect in 2022. Make sure your chest pad is NOCSAE Certified. Some of these items could make a nice Christmas gift! Our sponsors and partners at Palm City Lacrosse (16205 S. Tamiami Trail Unit 2. Practices will be on Monday's and Wednesday's each week from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, starting January 13 - April 9. Practice locations will be held at Three Oaks Park and Villas Elementary School. Younger age groups may finish practice at 7:30.

Monday practice is scheduled for Villas Elementary, located at 8385 Beacon Boulevard, Fort Myers 33907

Wednesday practice is scheduled for Three Oaks Park, located at 18251 Three Oaks Parkway, Fort Myers 33912

Games are scheduled to be played at Three Oaks Park in Lee and North Collier Regional Park in Collier county on Saturday's. You can expect your child to have two - 40-minute games each Saturday. Once we have closed registration and know how many children we have per age group, we will assign teams and begin to schedule games. We expect to have the full season schedule by the first week or two of practice.

 

Season will end on April 12th, (subject to change depending on number of teams in the league, with a Championship weekend)

An end of season picnic will take place following the Championship Games. Likely on a Sunday. More details to follow

 

Age Groups this year will be broken down as follows: 7U (Kindergarten & 1^st Grade), 9U (2^nd & 3^rd Grade), 11U (4^th & 5^th Grade), and Middle School (6^th, 7^th, and 8^th Grade)

 

Registration Fee: $325 single fee ($100 Jersey cost, $20 shooter shirt cost, $50 Advanced Lacrosse two day clinic, $155 league fee for equipment, field setup, officials) until January 6th. A discount of $50 will apply to all that register before December 9th.
